As much of a Williams education takes place outside as inside the classroom.
Student life at Williams is more vibrant and varied than ever, with men and women from 50 states and 52 countries participating in more than 100 organizations and 50 intercollegiate, intramural, and club teams—and many assume key roles in college governance. To help students make the most of their own talents, and learn as much as possible from each other’s broad experience, Williams has expanded programming for all aspects of student life—including student clubs, entertainment, and intramural sports. Williams seeks short- and long-term funding for a range of initiatives to…
- engage more faculty in student residential life through guest dinners and informal seminars
- enrich campus cultural life with programming that responds to the broadened interests of an increasingly diverse Williams community
- increase social and cultural programming, on and off campus
- ensure that robust recreational programs and facilities are available and affordable to all students
